El cubo mágico, the animation film produced by the Andalucian company M5 Audiovisual and directed by studios Milimetros, is a major incursion of the group Polsat into the Spanish film production.
The private audiovisual group, Polsat – which owns 4 national channels covering the Polish territory as well as a digital platform - begins its participation in European audiovisual works in collaboration with top Polish film production company, Dziki Film. With a strong tradition in feature films, and responsible for one of Poland's biggest box office hits (over 2 million moviegoers), In Desert and Wilderness, Dziki Film tries once more, with El cubo mágico an animated feature for children.
The co-production for M5 Audiovisual's film and the acquisition of the rights of "Dragon Hill" to be exhibited in Poland mark the beginning of an entrepreneurial collaboration aimed at larger projects. M5 Audiovisual is an internationally oriented company based in Cordoba, which includes Milímetros Dibujos Animados and Grupo Cinco.
Pre-sold to the most important 7 European territories and Latin America, and co-financed by Disney Channel España, the international of release El cubo mágico is set for the next month of November.
