Eurimages supports 9 co-productions

A total of €2.8m was allocated last week by Eurimages, the European Council’s support fund, to nine new European titles still in production.

Eric Rohmer's Les amours d'Astrée et de Céladon, Noémie Lvovsky's L'ami de Fred Astaire, Momcilo Mrdakovic's Mamarosh and Marco Simon Puccioni's Riparo are the four French co-productions supported by Eurimages, which at its 100th meeting also decided to contribute to the Romanian/Serbian/Austrian co-production Daca Bobul Nu Moare: Ako Zrno Ne Umre (If the Seed Doesn’t Die) by Sinisa Dragin, two Turkish titles (Ômer Ugur's Eve Dönus and Semir Aslanyürek's Eve Giden Yol), Dutch/Belgium film Wolfsbergen by Nanouk Leopold and La trece rosas by Emilio Martinez-Lazaro (Los dos lados de la cama, see focus), a co-production between Spain (Pedro Costa PC and Enrique Cerezo PC) and Italy (Filmsport Group), which was allocated to receive €500.000.

Furthermore, the Eurimages Board of Directors also decided to back 27 distribution companies in releasing non-domestic titles in their territories. The chosen films include Alex de la Iglesia's Crimen Ferpecto, which Blitz Film will distribute in Bosnia and Croatia, and François Ozon's Time to Leave [+see also:

, released in Croatia by UCD-Distribucija and in Turkey by Pi Film Produksiyon.
