awarded the Sundance Jury Special Prize in the Best Foreign Drama category.

Co-directed by his father Temur Babluani and starring Sylvie Testud, George Babluani, Stanislas Merhar, Pascal Bongard and Olga Legrand, the film was presented in competition at the RomeFilmFest in October (see article).

A €1.35m Les Films de la Strada and Quasar Pictures production, The Legacy received €400,000 in advances on receipts from the CNC and co-production financing from Premium Films and Solimane Productions.

International sales are being handled by MK2 Diffusion.

Winner of Discovery title at the recent European Film Awards, Gela Babluani is currently preparing the US remake of 13 (Tzameti), produced by Brad Pitt and his outfit Plan B.
