- The fifth edition of Cinema! Italia! A touring review of Italian films, begins in Berlin with stopovers in 13 key cities

Italian cinema is about to conquer Germany. On 28 September, Berlin will host the opening of the fifth edition of Cinema! Italia!, a touring review of contemporary films organised by the Made in Italy association, and funded by the Italian Ministry for Culture and the Italian Embassy and Consulates in Germany.
The films are all subtitled in German and will be seen by audiences in 13 key cities including Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Bonn, Dusselforf and Hamburg.
Seven recent productions were selected: the titles - Francesca Archibugi’s Domani, Nina Di Majo’s L’inverno, Vincenzo Terracciano’s Ribelli per caso, Antonietta De Lillo’s Non è giusto, Wilma Labate’s Domenica Vincenzo Marra’s, Tornando a casa and Emidio Greco’s Il consiglio d’Egitto.
As is traditional at this event, German audiences will be invited to express their preference and vote for their favourites that German distributor, Kairos – Filmverleih has promised to buy and distribute theatrically. The review was created to promote Italian films on the German market and gives German audiences the opportunity to meet with Italian actors, directors and producers.
