RELEASES Italy

An alternative circuit for My Country

by

Presented to critical and audience acclaim at last year’s Venice Film Festival, Daniele Vicari’s documentary feature My Country (see article) is out today in Italy.

The film will enjoy a broad release throughout the entire country by Vivo Film – on both film and video (Beta Digital or DVD) – in collaboration with ARCI, in its theatres and film circuits, all part of the UCCA (Union of ARCI Cinema Circuits) circuit.

Besides the UCCA circuit, My Country will play in those arthouse cinemas in Italy’s main cities that have decided to take part in the initiative.

Vivo Film has also just acquired all Italian distribution rights for Joris Ivens’s legendary documentary Italy is Not a Poor Country and will screen the film alongside Vicari’s on several occasions throughout its tour.
