The Venice Film Festival announced today that it’s jury will be entirely made up of filmmakers.

Presided over by China’s Zhang Yimou, the group that on the closing night of the festival’s 64th edition (September 8, 2007), will present its prizes to competition films, includes two directors working in Italy, Emanuele Crialese, Silver Lion winner in 2006 for Golden Door [+see also:
