Paolo Virzì’s Tutta la vita davanti [+see also:

"It’s a very stimulating period and I’m proud to be a part of it,” said the director during the ceremony held at Villa Massimo in Roma. The film also won Sabrina Ferilli a Best Actress Globe.
Producers Andrea Occhipinti and Gianluca Arcopinto, who were awarded for Salvatore Mereu’s Sonetàula [+see also:
film profile], also spoke of a dynamic period and new talent. "It isn’t easy to finance a film in such a closed market,” they said, adding that being an independent producer “is nevertheless still a privilege ".
Sonetàula also won the Foreign Press Grand Prize as well as a Golden Globe for Best Debut Actor Francesco Falchetto.
Sandro Petraglia, Golden Globe winner for the screenplay for The Girl by the Lake [+see also:

As did Career Award recipient Liliana Cavani, who reminded attendees of the work of the Centoautori movement. "I hope that a dialogue with the government will lead to concrete results for the industry,” she said.
