Humans arrives in Lötschen Valley
Zurich-based company Vega Film (headed by Ruth Waldburger) are co-producing Humans – the debut feature by Pierre-Olivier Thévenin and Jacques-Olivier Molon – along with La Fabrique de Films (France) and Iris Productions (Luxembourg).
The fantasy film – which stars French actors Lorànt Deutsch, Dominique Pinon, Philippe Nahon and Sara Forestier – is partly set in Switzerland. In the Lötschen Valley (Valais), a team of palaeontologists investigating a discovery in the Swiss Alps and a family of tourists who have come to take part in the famous carnival, are plunged into a nightmare. The title is set to be released in February 2009.
