Alicja is fourteen, new at school and, before she knows what's happening, the laughing stock of the playground. In fact she's worse than that, she's a nothing. The wrong clothes, the wrong mobile phone, and that was that! For half a year now Alicja has lived with her family in the city and still no one takes an interest in her. Milena, Kaja and Julia on the other hand, the dynamic trio of the class, seem to have sussed how a woman should approach life: get tarted up after school and make your way to the shops to try on clothes, talk to guys and, with a little luck, be invited by a "sponsor" for an ice cream or a sit in his car.
