TorinoFilmLab lanza el nuevo Distribution Fund

Este artículo está disponible en inglés.

The TorinoFilmLab, dedicated to training, development and financing for the production of independent international films, launches the new TFL Distribution Fund in order to complete its range of activities with another fundamental element, distribution.

The new fund will be used to apply new techniques for reaching the public when a film is distributed. A total of four €43,000 prizes will be given out in 2014/2015 thanks to the support given by the Creative Europe – MEDIA sub-programme to the International Co-production Funds.

The TFL Distribution Fund is open to feature films developed in one of the TorinoFilmLab programmes (the candidates must be based in a country that can participate in the  MEDIA programme with at least one co-producer originating from a non-MEDIA and non-Eurimages country) which were due to be distributed in at least 3 territories by December 2016. Creative ideas and solutions will be rewarded and suggestions can be thought up for festivals, cinemas, video on demand services, TV, smartphones and generally all forms of media.

Applications for the TFL Distribution Fund are available here.

In the meantime, let’s not forget that since it was created in 2008, TorinoFilmLab has distributed and entered a total of 27 films into major global film festivals. Four of the films provided by TFL – three of which were funded through TFL Production Awards – will make their debut this year in prestigious international film festivals: Men Who Save the World by Malaysian filmmaker Liew Seng Tat and Los Hongos [+lee también:
