Kwassa Films stands out with its pool of young writers and directors (the likes of whom include Gerlando Infuso, Olivier Pairoux, Thomas Ancora, and Edith de Paule), and will rely on the know-how and contacts of Entre Chien et Loup to accelerate the production process for its projects, whilst Entre Chien et Loup broadens its policy for supporting young talent to include producers.

Entre Chien et Loup, which is run by three associate producers, Diana Elbaum, Sébastien Delloye and François Touwaide, is a major international film production company, which works with directors such as Rupert Everett, Ari Folman and Sam Garbarski. is due to be released at the beginning of January, and has enjoyed great success with several TV series over the last three years, including Ennemi Public by Matthieu Frances and Gary Seghers, which was hugely successful in Belgium and has been sold to a number of countries.

Kwassa Films, which was set up by Annabella Nezri and Clément Manuel in 2014, has an original editorial line, but one which is accessible to a wide audience. It most notably produced family comedy The Highest Step in the World by Olivier Pairoux and Eusebio Larrea, a buddy movie with a Belgian flavour to it, Les Mêmes mais en mieux by Thomas Ancora and Zoé Wittock, and musical comedy Raining Sisters by Edith de Paule and Philippe Blasband. by Fabrice Benchaouche, which is slated for release in France and Belgium at the end of the year.

Diana Elbaum and Annabella Nezri have just teamed up to launch Boost Camp, an initiative which aims to accelerate the development of films or series created by women, especially in Belgium, and to support them so that they don’t lose touch with the market due to the fact that their projects take longer to develop than those of their male counterparts. The first session kicks off in March 2017!
