Eight projects have been selected by Wallimage – the Walloon Regional Investment Fund – as part of its 89th session. Among the eight projects selected are five feature films, an animated feature film, a documentary and a television series. It’s worth noting that half of the projects were submitted by Belgian filmmakers, including the Dardenne brothers and Zoé Wittock.

, the story of a young Belgian boy who is radicalised. A contemporary tale we are told, which will be more reminiscent of the Dardenne brothers' first films, namely by putting a young unknown novice actor in the spotlight. The film will once again be supported by the directors' company, Les Films du Fleuve, in co-production with the French outfit Archipel 35

Finally, it's worth noting that financial support has also been given to the Flemish series Albatross by Wannes Destoop and produced by De Wereldvrede, the animated film Icare by Luxembourgish director Carlo Vogele, produced by Iris Productions and Rezo Productions and the selection’s wildcard: the new documentary by Patric Jean (La Raison du plus faible, La domination masculine) – Icare our la mesure des choses – produced by Iota Production, Red Productions and Nouvelle Tribu.
