"The contamination between fiction and documentary is getting stronger, and it is increasingly common to find works of fiction in the international cinema scene that draw from the stylistic elements of documentary film, and vice versa," stated Andrea Romeo, director of Biografilm Festival, which has set aside a rich programme of films, documentaries, portraits and biopics about the world of art and culture’s greatest protagonists for its 14th edition (Bologna, 14 to 21 June), with exciting previews of films screened at some the most prestigious international festivals such as Cannes, Sundance and Berlin.
