synopsis
In Provence, Louise, a young widow alone with her two children, struggles to keep her dead husband's business afloat. One evening, as she is driving home she nearly runs over a stranger. So she decides to bring him home to tend to him. Pierre is afflicted by a strange syndrome and he is different from most people: he says what he thinks. Through her contact with him, Louise gradually regains her zest for living.
