BELGIAN DISASTER

by Patrick Glotz

synopsis

This story starts off with the unlikely encounter between a sassy young teen from Brussels' fourth-world and a prim and proper French heir. This meeting takes us on an extraordinary adventure centred on four cunning characters. In summary, it’s the journey of four people, who life has pushed aside, trying, against all odds, to pull off a scam, because while they may have been born in rags, they want to die with riches. It's comedy of farcical and hilarious errors. The film also tries to give a more realistic view on the daily life of these characters. From time to time this view can be a little cruel and corrosive.
