synopsis

Silva, an old hobo, arrives, a bundle in his shoulder, to a remote village in Portugal, where he settles in an abandoned house. He meets Ana with whom he creates a relationship of friendship and initiation. Fascinated by this man romantic life story, the girl gradually slides into his imaginary universe, populated by supernatural beings whose main figure is the late and beloved Carolina. But sudenlly strange crises hit Silva and inevitably lead him to the hospital, where a dozen of caring women penetrate him. Can they save it?
