THE ORDEAL

by Fabrice du Welz

synopsis

Marc Stevens, a roving singer on his way to his next concert, suddenly breaks down. It's pitch dark, and he is in the middle of nowhere. It's raining and he can't start his car again. He takes refuge at M. Bartel's abandoned country inn. He bit by bit understands that he fell into a trap, in an isolated country inn close to a lost village in an empty valley.
