synopsis

A real life drama about the lives and work of a team of doctors in their remote outpost in the South American jungle. The young doctor Marina, the logistics manager Barry, project coordinator Thijs and local staff members Orlando and Diego, all work under very difficult and dangerous conditions. Ultimately Marina finds out that on the poverty-torn continent of Latin America, success resides in the ability to make a difference, even if it is a small one.
