DIE NAGELPROBE

by Luke Gasser

synopsis

The young archaeologist Nina never imagined that discovering a medieval object in the reeds just outside the village of Giswil in the Canton of Obwalden would change her life so drastically. And back in 1381, Baggel-Rot, Brandi-Guchs, Bichel-Botsch, Buggel-Wyyss and Mattli-Latz all would never have dreamed that it would end like it did, when they set off during the night of that Good Friday to preserve Obwalden’s honour and put the fear of God into the inhabitants of Entlebuch.
