HOLY TONGUE

by Carlo Mazzacurati

synopsis

Antonio and Willy, two friends approaching their forties, frequent the Antille bar, the cheapest and most miserable bar in Padua. Antonio was a professional rugby player, famous for playing with a cigarette dangling from his mouth. Willy was a salesman, but a vortex of bankruptcy has left him without both his job and his wife. One day, while they are watching the world go by from the Antille bar, a paradoxical, enormous and almost certainly dangerous opportunity comes their way. They've got 50.000 lire in their pockets and a possible treasure on their hands: the two set off on a long journey.
