synopsis

Among all the symbols, pros and cons, that are acknowledged, supported and conveyed about this country, only one is common to Palestine and Israel: the orange. To tell the story of this symbol is to tell the story of this land. The image of the oranges growned and known around the world for more than 100 year as “Oranges from Jaffa (now labelled Jaffaä, symbol of the Zionist enterprise) is the object of this film as it tells the story of the negation of Arab Palestine 60 years ago and the history and settlement of the state of Israel.
