SKET
synopsis
Kayla is 16 years old, and has recently arrived in London from the North East following the death of her mother. She lives with her devoted sister on a rough housing estate and struggles to fit in. She comes into the orbit of a group of girls led by Danielle, who have attitude and swagger, are fiercely loyal to each other and take no nonsense, particularly from any lads who are foolish enough to vex them. As Kayla endears herself to Danielle, the sinister activities of gang lord Trea begin to impact on the choices the girls make.
