synopsis

Matt's entire world falls apart when his girlfriend, Deborah, leaves him for a new life in America. The repercussions are extensive, affecting all around Matt - particularly his closest friends, Vinnie and Susie, who try in vain to cheer him up. While Matt begins the long road to recovery, meeting several women in search of new romantic vistas, Vinnie and Susie's relationship comes under increasing strain. Matt soon realises that Susie is in love with him - and, worse still, that he is in love with her.
