Alberto is a small businessman from the region of Liguria, who is married with children, honest and leads an apparently peaceful life. In reality, in order to save his struggling business and unbeknownst to his wife, he is working as a courier for a powerful criminal organization: he collects illegal goods in Reggio Calabria and delivers it to the underworld of the North. One day, before one of his trips, another group of criminals takes his family into hostage and asks for the goods to be delivered to them. And that is how a normal man finds himself trapped in a situation bigger than him.
