A talented actor stuck on a New York City children’s TV show where he portrays a hapless bunny, Will is sulking, thinking everyone has forgotten his birthday. But after his stolen car gets involved in an accident that leads everyone to believe he is dead, Will decides to attend his own funeral to find out what everyone truly thinks of him. With the aid of his best friend Rad, an Indian restaurant-owner, he becomes Vijay Singh, a handsome Sikh. Surprisingly, Will’s wife Julia takes a romantic interest in Vijay and protected by his disguise, Will ends up courting her. As Vijay, Will learns some embarrassing truths about himself and confronts a problem: he likes Vijay more than himself. And so does everyone else.
