synopsis
The documentary tells the filmmaker’s story with Tahrir which has become a symbol of freedom worldwide after the 25th of January revolution. But for Hamed, it was already this Symbol since the first time he had been there since his family came back after living for years in a conservative society, in Saudi Arabia. Tahrir was a new world for him: Exploring freedom in an open society. It all started when he bought a banned book for the first time from a bookseller on the pavement in one of Tahrir streets to begin his hobby of collecting banned books, the start of never ending experiences for the “First time in Tahrir”.
