synopsis

Laura, just over 30 and with a doubtful career of actress as her background, is selected as the star of a film staged in the 19th Century, a love story without happy ending. On the set she meets Stefano, a a 35 year-old actor of some renown, who is back to acting after a fiasco. A love affair is born between the two which transfers from the set into the real world the situations and the sequence of events of the film story...
