HABANA BLUES

by Benito Zambrano

synopsis

Habana Blues tells the story of Ruy and Tito, two young Cubans who have a shared dream: become music stars. Dilemma and the temptation come to the fore when they receive an offer to make a record and play their music abroad. It will change their life and the relationships with their family and friends forever. Against a backdrop of shared humour and sentimentality, Habana Blues is a lovely metaphor for dignity, friendship and love.
