FALSE WALTZ

by Mark De Cloe

synopsis

False Waltz provides a glimpse through the peep-hole into a love life. Forty years of relationship are bracketed between a couple's first and last nights. It begins with their passionate meeting in a seedy seaport bar, at the end of a false waltz.
Years later, they have ended up on the inevitable couch, time standing still in their living room while the TV screen dominates their lives. And before they realize it, they've grown old: he's more stubborn and she's more obstinate.
