synopsis

Every morning at dawn Serge, a radio journalist, leaves to prepare the seven o’clock news broadcast. But first he makes a little detour to spend a few intimate moments with his mistress Mathilde. As he leaves her home, it is still dark and pouring with rain, and he hits someone with his car. Distraught, Serge flees. All day he struggles with fear and guilt to avoid knowing the outcome of this accident.
