synopsis

Pauline, a rich heiress, is married against her will to her father’s employee, François, who has made her pregnant. When, a few months later, her husband announces that he wants to leave her, Pauline, feeling furious, leaves death threats on his answer phone. Alexis Target, a labourer who works in Pauline’s house, hears the young woman utter these threats. François dies that very evening in a car accident. The day of the funeral, Alexis comes to see Pauline declaring that he carried out her wish and killed François. Alexis then forces his way into Pauline’s life. For he too is looking for revenge.
