THE BONE MAN

by Wolfgang Murnberger

synopsis

Private detective Brenner mounts an investigation in the countryside, where a famous “Backhendlstation”, a country inn, consumes thousands of chickens every week, leaving only bones to be ground down – ironically enough – for chicken feed. Brenner finds himself caught up in this cannibalistic cycle of eating and being eaten.
