synopsis

Zurich, December 31. A lonely divorcée decides to celebrate New Year's Eve with a philosophical taxi driver; an antisocial man who still plays with models is forced to baby-sit the 8-year-old girl next door; a lovesick adolescent comforts her alcoholic mother before going out with one of her friends; a couple in their seventies go through a crisis when their dog runs away; two police officers learn about life together during the night shift.
