THE SKEIN

by Giambattista Avellino, Salvo Ficarra, Valentino Picone

synopsis

This is the story of an argument, or rather the argument. That argument, like so many previous ones, but which separated forever two brothers and their families. Two brothers who had always lived as brothers, sharing joys and pains, overcoming together, with love, all the difficulties of life and their characters. The same love they transferred to their children, the two cousins who grew up like brothers for so many years. They are so different from each other: the first a bully and tormentor, the second submissive and victim-like. Then, suddenly, this argument drove them apart, making them no longer brothers, if not in their memories of that wonderful period of life that is adolescence. Today, when our story takes place, our heroes are two thirty-year-old men leading two very different lives that fate will lead back together...
