Corruption, love and revenge on the streets of Cairo. Nour is an idealistic assistant working at a Cairo university who is hopelessly in love with police chief Sharif, the dashing son of her female boss. Nour's plight is complicated by the fact that her neighbour Haitam, an endlessly corrupt police officer, is in love with her. As her budding romance with Sharif grows, so does Haitam's jealousy and capacity for violence as events hurtle towards a shocking denouement.
