Görliwood®, the city of Görlitz

EUFCN Location Award

The city of Görlitz, which carry out a lot of charm and a romantic atmosphere of heat, boasts one of Germany's best-preserved old towns. Its authentic, diverse and unique architecture - generally its architectural wealth - is due to its architectural heritage laws which provides a lot of inspiration for filmmakers and one proliferous example is the Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.

In the 1950s Görlitz was used as a film location for the first time and since then, it has represented a lot of other cities such as Berlin, Paris or New York, giving to all of them worldwide attention.
