is a co-production between Russia, France and Germany, screened in competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The film follows Natasha, a lonely, middle-aged woman who works in administration at a zoo. Her dreary life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out one day that she has grown a tail, which leads her to meet a young radiologist, Pyotr, during a medical examination. We met up with Tverdovsky at the festival to talk about what went into the film.
