In competition at the 13th Lecce Festival of European Cinema, Umut Dag's Kuma [trailer, film focus] is the story of Ayse, a beautiful Turkish girl who is married off as a second wife to a man much older than her living in Vienna, and finds herself in limbo between two cultures, with dramatic consequences. The film, which is the first feature by the Austrian director of Kurdish origin, opened the Berlinale 2012 Panorama section.
