The Media Business School (MBS) is accepting applications for the m&id – Marketing and International Distribution course, which will run from 20-24 July 2015 in Ronda (Málaga, Spain).

Structured as a five-day residential training workshop, m&id will deal with production, marketing, distribution, exhibition, sales and acquisitions, from both a theoretical and a practical point of view. The course is aimed at professionals from the entertainment and audiovisual sector, such as entrepreneurs, producers and company executives.

Lessons will cover both traditional and digital-driven marketing and distribution strategies, as well as consumer behaviour and audience targeting. It will offer an extensive insight into the latest marketing trends and sales strategies, new business models, and market and festival strategies.

m&id is led by Peter Buckingham, former head of distribution at UK Film Council and BFI. The course is co-financed by the Creative Europe-Media Programme. Participants will have the opportunity to significantly expand their professional network of contacts, learning from top industry professionals and working side by side with leading players in the industry from all over the world.

The Media Business School is an institute founded in 1991 and supported by the Spanish Ministry of Culture that offers several programmes focusing on marketing and business in the audiovisual sector.

Applications for the Marketing and International Distribution course will be open until 19 June.
