The Holland Film Meeting (HFM), held as part of the Netherlands Film Festival, has unveiled the list of projects taking part in the upcoming HFM Co-Production Platform (22-25 September). The line-up includes a total of 12 projects in development, all ripe for co-production. These titles join the 11 Dutch and international projects in development and the three works in progress already selected for the inaugural BoostNL programme, organised in collaboration with the IFFR’s CineMart (read more).

This year’s list includes projects from the UK, France, Serbia, Croatia, Ireland, Russia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Sweden, Germany and Spain, among others, set to be directed by a mix of established and emerging directors.

Among the selected projects are Molly by renowned British director Sally Potter (OrlandoGinger & Rosa [+lire aussi :

. In addition, the list also features the first feature-length projects by three directors of award-winning shorts: Tangier Stories by Fyzal BoulifaIllyricvm by Simon Bogojevic Narath and The Whale Hunter by Philipp Yuryev.

For Vanja Kaludjercic, who is chairing the event for the first time, “The HFM attracts many leading professionals – but not an excessive number, which adds to the sense of conviviality. Everybody can, over three-and-a-half days, get to know people much better in our smaller and more carefully curated event that looks to provide everything that projects, the producers and all the professional guests need. It isn’t just about 30-minute meetings; in Utrecht you spend evenings and afternoons, dinners and lunches together, and you can exchange in a very fruitful manner that is not often possible elsewhere.”
