The Solinas Award Ceremony returns to the Sardinian island of La Maddalena, where it was created by the Sardinian screenplay writer of international fame, Franco Solinas. The film writing competition awards ceremony, named after him, will take place in conjunction with the Festival delle Storie, scheduled to run from 27 to 30 September: "With this edition," explains Annamaria Granatello, Director of Solinas Award Ceremony, "La Maddalena will be transformed into an open-air workshop, involving 150 creatives, such as screenwriters, directors and producers immersed in a sharing atmosphere, along with the 130 international architects behind the Eterotopia research project. There will also be an opportunity to reconnect with the universities of Cagliari and Sassari and to present the results of the Cantiere delle Storie, creating a sharing environment for Sardinian cinema in order to generate international momentum."
