In the fifth and final round of the Netherlands Film Production Incentive for 2018, cash rebates were granted to 21 productions, fourteen of which are international co-productions. The selected projects include eleven feature films, three documentaries, one animated feature film and six high-end TV series.

Ruud Schuurman’s feature Everything Is As It Should Be received the highest contribution, with a total of €710,680. The film, which was produced by Tom de Mol Productions, is about a first-time mother who has to deal with the pressure of love and work in order to become a responsible adult. The Netherlands Film Production Incentive is based on a cash-rebate system and offers an incentive of 30% for high-end TV-series and 35% for film productions on eligible production costs. Aimed at supporting a healthy production climate in the Netherlands, this round is expected to generate over €31.1 million in production expenditure in the country. A total amount of € 25.8 million Production Incentive has been granted during 2018.
