Bruno Dumont

Born in 1958, he wrote and directed the following features: The Life of Jesus (1997), winner of a Golden Camera Special Mention at Cannes and FIPRESCI Award in Chicago, Humanity (1999), winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes and featuring in the Backwash retrospective at San Sebastian Festival this year, Twentynine Palms (2003), which competed at Venice, and Flanders, similiarly winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes. He has also directed around 40 commercials and the short film Paris (1993).
