Tobias Lindholm

Lindholm, born in Denmark in 1977, graduated in script writing at the National Film School of Denmark. He began his career as script writer in the world of short films, and took off when he assumed some chapters of the Danish series Sommer (2008) and especially, Borgen (2010-2011), which success benefited him enormously.

In 2010 he participated in the script writing, along with Thomas Vinterberg himself, of Submarino, a situation that has repeated for the recent The Hunt, with which they competed at Cannes obtaining two good prizes. After his first film, R (2010), co-written with Michael Noer, Lindholm made his first film as solo director with A Hijacking, presented at the Venice Orizzonti Section.
