Alejandro Jodorowsky

Alejandro Jodorowsky

Alejandro Jodorowsky, born in Chile in 1929, moves to Paris in 1953, where together with Fernando Arrabal and Roland Topor he founds the theater collective “Panic Movement”. It is the cinema which brings him fame, however, thanks to cult films such as El topo (1970), which reached an international audience, The Holy Mountain (1973) and Santa sangre (1989). Alongside filmmaking, Jodorowsky still cultivates his passion for Psychomagic and tarot cards, which are a recurrent inspiration for his writing and his graphic novels.
