Mario Iglesias

Pontevedra, Spain, 1962. Graduate in Fine Arts from the Universidad de Vigo, he took his first steps in the audiovisual world in the late 90s. Since 2002, he has worked exclusively as an author and director of his own shorts and features.

He wrote, directed and edited the following full-length films: De bares, Jury Prize at the Ourense Independent Film Festival, Catalina (2007) and Cartas italianas (2007), in addition to the documentary feature El desayuno del poeta (2007). (Source: San Sebastian film festival)
