Julio Medem
In 1992, he directed his first feature, Vacas, winner, among others, of the Goya for Best New Director. La ardilla roja (1993) received the Audience Award for Best Foreign Film at Cannes.
His other films include: Tierra (1996), presented in the Official Selection at Cannes, Lovers of the Arctic Circle (1998), a contender in Venice, Lucía y el sexo (2001), The Basque Ball (2003) and Chaotic Ana (2007).
