Alex Pitstra

Born in 1979, Alex Pitstra studies audiovisual communication in Leeuwarden and later follows a master program in film at the University of Groningen. He directs several shorts and commercials before signing his first feature, Die Welt (2013), which is selected at numerous festivals such as the Seattle International Film Festival. The documentaryBezness as Usual (2016) is his second feature film.
