With a Masters degree in cinema from the University of Manchester cinema and a Masters 2 from the Lussas Documentary Cinema School, specialising audiovisual production,

Julie Mermillon did her end-of-studies internship in a young audiovisual production company of creative documentaries, 5°Nord Productions, based in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, French Guiana, in 2014. Here, she worked on several documentary projects, from the first writing residence of Doc Amazonie-Caraïbes.
