Isabel Coixet

Born in Barcelona on 9 April 1962, she worked as a journalist whilst studying history and made her first short film in 1984.

She began working in the commercials industry in 1985 and in 1990 she co-founded a production company, for which she has produced over 400 commercials.

In 1996 she scored an international festival hit with Things I Never Told You.
